Hard to Touch combines the more upbeat music from the eighties with Simple minds, U2, Depeche Mode, Madness, The Specials, Bob Marley, Thin Lizzy and AC/DC with the more rockier of today’s chart music with newer favorites such as Robbie Williams and Coldplay.

Do you use tracks? We are a live band, we do not, and never have, used tracks.

Do you get the guests involved? We use wireless mikes to get guests involved all through the night. You should really come to view us to see this, the show is dynamic and all about fun and including the guests in the show. We will not stay on the stage all night strumming out songs.

What kind of songs do you play? We can play literally 100s of songs from every era. Our set list has evolved over the years into one that we know works, not one that we think will work. While we know not every song suits every crowd, we think we’re very good at judging what and where to play as its our business to know this. See our Play list for regular songs we play. We can include or omit any of these at your request, let us know if you’d like us to do any particular song listed, and if we can we’ll gladly oblige.

Im afraid of booking a band thats too cheesey? Most bands have to be able to play cheesey music to cater for all types of wedding. We can do this with the best of them, but we get the rock and indie bit right better then most. Talk to us about how you want your night to go. We want to work with you to make sure its right.

Do I or the hotel need to provide any equipment?We travel with high end professional sound and lighting equipment to suit any venue in the country and carry spares in case of any problems that may arise on the night. We do not take chances with your night.

Can I book a DJ with you? Yes. An experienced professional DJ can be booked with us and will use the same equipment as the band to ensure there are no gaps when the band is finished. Our DJ brings up to the minute chart music and encourages requests. Send over a list of songs prior to the night to ensure your favorites are played on the night.

Im having trouble selecting some first songs for my wedding Can I have some ideas on the music and not sure if they’ll work? Contact us, speak with a band member or our DJ to talk it through, we’ll give you some ideas on what may or may not work.
