ORION Biography

ORION are an Acoustic two-piece band, our main attribute is our high quality proper vocal harmonies and unique arrangements of Cover Songs. Along with Karl’s Guitar and effects pedal we also operate a Meinl FX pedal giving a “Bass Drum” sound that has received a fantastic reaction by audiences. This is played by myself in real time and it is not a backing track drum beat. Combined with brilliant guitar playing by Karl and our very tight vocal harmonies it gives us a unique and very lively sound.

Formed in April 2010, Kevin, lead singer, song writer. Karl, lead Guitar, backing vocals. Kevin, a seasoned performer is renowned for his powerful and unique vocals with an almost unlimited range and has recently won the  Drogheda X-factor.
Karl is an amazing lead and acoustic guitarist with far reaching guitar styles and breath taking, mature guitar skills way beyond his years. One of the Country’s most promising guitar talents. Together they form a unique and very high quality sound.
